The maze runner is about a boy named Thomas who wakes up in an elevation shaft. The elevator shaft goes up the where he realizes he is in the middle of the maze with other boys. He learns what to do just like the other boys and soon is just like the other boys. One day, a girl comes up through the shaft. And her message is terrifying...

The book is mostly for kids 12+. It is definitely not a happy book so if you are into happy books, this is not for you.
